Welcome to the “Point of Zion” website operated by the “Nekudat Zion” association – to strengthen and preserve the heritage of IDF soldiers throughout the generations (580728046 “The Site” and “The Association“, respectively).
The use of the Site, including the content contained therein and the services it offers, indicates your agreement to these terms as well as to additional terms appearing on the Site, including the Privacy Policy as well as additional provisions and rules that may be presented to you during the use of the Site and these Terms of Use (collectively: the “Binding Documents“).
The mandatory documents are drafted in the masculine form for convenience only, but they apply to all genders.
You are requested to read the binding documents carefully, as they define your rights and obligations in relation to the use of the Website. The binding documents apply to the use of the Site through any computer or other communication device (such as smartphones, smart watches, tablets, etc.).
In binding documents, the term “content” or “content” means any literal, visual, audio or any combination thereof (such as audiovisual videos) or any part thereof as well as designs, their processing, editing and the way they are presented.

About the site in a nutshell
On the site you can view testimonies and memories of IDF soldiers who no longer serve in compulsory or permanent service (“IDF soldiers“), as well as upload original content and share memories of your military service. The site is a digital social platform that enables IDF soldiers throughout the generations to share their personal stories and weave together a full network of authentic and reliable testimonies. The organization has the sole discretion to decide what content will be displayed on the site, the length of time it will be displayed, its location and design, and any other matter related to them.
The association may allow through the site a referral or links to social networks and various online services. The use of such social networks, or any other online service, is at your own risk and by its nature is subject to the legal agreements (such as the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy) governing the activity of these services (which are not on behalf of the Association).
Use of the Site
Viewing of the site is not blocked by age, but the association designates the content to those over the age of 15.
If you are under the age of 18, you may create a profile on the site and upload content to the site only if the organization has received a signed consent form from your parents. The Site, its contents and services may not be used in a manner other than that specified in the rules below, unless you have received the express consent of the Association to do so, in advance in writing, and subject to the terms of that consent. The use of the Website is for private purposes only and for non-commercial purposes, unless explicitly stated otherwise;
You may not copy and use, or allow others to copy and use, in any other way the content from the Site, including on other websites and applications, electronic publications, print publications, etc., for any other purpose;
It is forbidden to activate or enable the operation of any computer application or any other means, including programs such as Robots, Crawlers, etc., for the purpose of searching, scanning, copying or automatically retrieving content from the Site. In this regard, it is forbidden to create or use such means for the purpose of creating a compilation, collection or database that will contain content or information from the Site;
You may not link to the Site and the content on the Site from any source that contains pornographic content, content that encourages racism or wrongful discrimination, or content that is against the law, or that encourages illegal activity, or whose publication is against the law; The Association will not bear any responsibility for any damage caused as a result of any link to content originating on the Site and from any presentation or publication of content in any other way. You bear full and exclusive responsibility for any linking, presentation or publication of the content, made by you and undertake to indemnify the association for any damage caused as a result.
Providing details and uploading content
Opening a profile on the site involves registering and providing personal information and identifiers, such as full name, active email address and other details as needed. As explained above, opening a profile on the site for those under the age of 18 is also possible to obtain a consent form signed by the parents.
You may be required to actively and explicitly confirm your consent to the terms of the binding documents or part thereof. You may complete the registration in any of these cases after providing the requested details during the course of the process and after obtaining your consent to all the binding documents, or to any of them. You must provide only correct, accurate and complete details. Providing incorrect information may prevent you from using the full features of the Site and its services. The association encourages freedom of expression and the existence of relevant content on the site, with the active participation of you and the other users of the site. At the same time, in order to enable the existence of a cultural and substantive discourse and to prevent the abuse of the open possibilities to express oneself on the site, or to use its services, the association may check the content before and after its publication on the site. Such checks will be carried out solely to try to prevent the publication of content that is illegal on its face, or otherwise inappropriate. Accordingly, the site administration may at any time make an independent decision regarding the removal of offensive or illegal materials.
By uploading content to the site, you grant the organization unlimited permission in time and place, to use the content you have uploaded, including but not limited to advertising the site on various platforms. The association encourages and maintains a fruitful and cultural discourse on the site, using proper language and respecting the rights of the participants in the community and any other person. After receiving your inquiry, the association may contact you to provide it with additional information for the purpose of investigating your complaint.
Please note: Any user of the site may report inappropriate content to the association, even if he is not a registered user. The Association will examine the content that is the subject of your complaint and will consider removing it or blocking access to it only if it believes that the content violates the Terms of Use of the Site, and the culture of proper discourse, and in particular if it is evident on its face that the content is prohibited from being published on the Site, in accordance with the section “Content prohibited for publication on the Site” that appears above.
The association does not undertake to remove any content that is claimed to be inappropriate. The Association may change the said arrangement at any time at its sole discretion, or in accordance with the requirements of the law. Any action that the association chooses to take following the receipt of a complaint does not constitute an admission that the content is appropriate or inappropriate.
Similarly, any user of the site, who believes that his copyright or the copyright he represents has been infringed, may report infringing content to the organization, even if he is not a registered user. Most of the content to which the links will be addressed is not published by the association, or on its behalf, and the association does not control or supervise them. These Terms of Use do not prevent the use of the content on the Site in accordance with the provisions of the Copyright Law, 5768-2007, such as fair use. In any case, it is mandatory to provide the name of the creator(s) when using the item. It is forbidden to offend the dignity or reputation of the creator by distorting or altering the work.

The word “responsibility” also refers to the responsibility of the association’s employees, managers and those acting on its behalf or on its behalf. Jurisdiction over all intents and purposes arising from the binding documents or the Website is vested exclusively in the competent courts in the Tel Aviv District, Israel.

The Association may transfer its rights in the Site or any part thereof to any third party, at its absolute discretion, provided that such third party accepts the Association’s obligations to you according to the binding documents.
